Holistic and Wellness Services
Reiki works with the energetic, physical and emotional aspects of the individual to address imbalances on all levels.
Reiki is holistic in its approach and works with not only the symptoms and individual experiences but the root cause of the imbalance as well.
Through a gentle hands-on approach the practitioner is able to feel and interpret emotional and physical imbalances and channel energy to facilitate ease of the symptoms and healing the root of the imbalance.

Pet therapy is a guided interaction between a specially trained animal and an individual or group, facilitated by the animal's handler.
Also known as animal-assisted therapy, pet therapy interactions are used to help improve a patient's mental, social, emotional, and physical functions. Therapy can take place in a wide range of settings including hospitals, care homes, and treatment centers and can involve different activities such as walking, looking after, and grooming the therapy animal.
Just like any other form of treatment, the specific components of the pet-therapy program are decided on a case-by-case basis so they address the particular needs of each patient.
Nutrition counseling is an on-going process in which a health professional, usually a registered dietitian, works with an individual to assess his or her usual dietary intake and identify areas where change is needed.
Nutritional counselling and dietary planning is often utilized to assist in treatment of a number of conditions including:
- High Blood Pressure,
- Elevated Cholsterol,
- Elevated Triglycerides,
- Diabetes Types 1 and 2,
- Kidney Disease,
- GERD, IBS, Constipation,
- Gastric Surgery,
- Other nutritional issues.
We view a patient as a whole, complex person representing a body of interconnected systems that interact with one another, and affect how the person feels and functions. Atlantic Rehab offers several modes of wellness therapy beyond traditional Physical, Occupational and Lymphedema therapy.
These modes of therapy are meant as supplements to the prescribed therapies described above, and to enhance the patient's long-term healing and wellness as appropriate.
